Council Bluffs at its Finest
Bahnsen Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is a small, three field complex. We were invited out there on a weeknight at sunset to capture some photography of a freshman softball player at the local Council Bluffs high school. We had an idea in mind to use some off-camera flash to really darken the background and bring out a dramatic look to the photos. It worked out great! The sunset had a great mix of clouds to really capture the warm light as the sun began to set over the tree line in the outfield for some excellent sports portraits in Council Bluffs. If you want to book your session, reach out and schedule your session today!
Lay in All Out on the Field
While much of our sports photography is dedicated to individual and team volume photography, we really love these one-off media day sessions to expand our creativity and try out some more modern styles. This player was a pitcher and a first baseman, so naturally we had to capture some action style photos of her doing what she does best!
For the Love of the Game
Please take some time to enjoy the album below and the incredible sunset with our athlete in action. She absolutely crushed it and came out swinging with these photos. Also, feel free to check out our sports photography page to see more photos and sessions like these. And we appreciate you taking the time read our Blog! Sports and high school students are where I shine. There is so much space for creativity in a young person's world, and I'm here to capture it for you!
